ABOUT US

An Honest, Caring Breeder

JP’s Premium Pets was named after my first name (Jake) and my father’s name (Phillip). My dad has always loved pets, and it was because of this love that I knew having quality, healthy, well-tempered pets could significantly increase anyone’s daily quality of life.

I never liked the idea of being a regular ‘animal breeder’. Having cages full of sad, neglected, and exploited animals was the exact opposite of a business I wanted to contribute to. So instead, I decided to ensure that every animal I sell is of proper age, is raised in a loving home, and that their new owner has all of the items they need to provide for a happy, healthy, and long life. I stand firmly behind this way of doing business since we are dealing with lives. These animals are deserving of respect and love - and I intend to give them that and more.

Whenever you search ‘puppies, kittens, or breeders near me’ you can rest assured we will be one of the first options due to our dedication to our animals’ well-being and our customers’ satisfaction. We serve the following cities, counties, and states:

Utah - Salt Lake County (Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, Murray, Holladay, Draper, Midvale, West Jordan, South Jordan, Millcreek, Cottonwood Heights, Sugarhouse),

- Utah County (Lehi, Provo, Orem, Alpine, Highland, Eagle Mountain)

- Summit County (Park City, Coalville, Kamas, Oakley, Deer Valley)

- Davis County (Bountiful, Woods Cross, Layton, Centerville, Kaysville, Ogden, South Ogden)

- Wasatch County (Heber City, Midway, Charleston, Timber Lakes)

- St. George

Idaho - Idaho Falls, Boise, Twin Falls, Rexburg

Texas, California, Oregon, Washington, New York, Florida

Please contact me if you have any further questions. Have an amazing day!!

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

A True Pet Lover

Jake Ritter

Before Jake was introduced to socially responsible animal breeding in 2019, he came from a small town in Idaho and was raised around all sorts of animals - from cats and dogs to pigs, goats, and horses. Since this exposure to responsible breeding, Jake has devoted himself to developing a breeding program that allows individual dames or queens (mothers) and sires (fathers) to enjoy all of the comforts of being with individual families while being able to breed top-quality pets safely.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

Our Ethical Breeding Program

We love working with families from all backgrounds. Our goal in life is to give you a quality pet, at a fair price, with all of the confidence you need to bring by home your new baby. We do this by having high standards for our pets, as listed below.
Our company has a strict one guardian animal per one home policy to ensure each pet gets the level of love and attention that they deserve. Each of our animals is health tested, up to date on vaccinations, temperament tested, and given ENS Stimulation from an early age.  When vetting a quality breeder, be sure to ask the following questions:
✅What got you into the breeding business?
✅How do you socialize your pets around humans and other animals?
✅What shots and dewormer do you use on your pets and why?
✅ How many breeding animals do you have in a home?
✅How often do they breed?
✅How many litters does your female have before they are retired?
✅Do you do genetic screening? What results make the cut and what don’t?
✅Do you guarantee your new pet’s health?
✅How old are your pets before they go home and before they start breeding?
Now, this isn’t an exhaustive list. However, it will give you a great start in the right direction of finding a quality breeder. If your prospects can confidently and honestly answer all of these questions to your liking, they are likely a great fit for your needs as a pet buyer!
