GUARDIAN HOME DOG PROGRAM

A Quick Guide

Hello and Welcome!

You've likely read an ad we put online and we or a friend referred you here.

Here are some qualifications that good candidates will have for the program as well as a timeline as to how the process works:

Qualifications

  • Be flexible for breeding appointments as needed

     

     

  • Have a backyard or be willing to take your dog out consistently and often for exercise and training

     

     

  • Ideally have a family or partner to be more available for the dog (not required but nice to have)

     

     

  • Be willing to buy quality products for your dog

     

     

  • Live within a reasonable distance of the Salt Lake City area

     

     

Here's the basic timeline:

  1. We will let you know of puppies that we are interested in purchasing or have for our organic breeding program

     

     

  2. You will read, ask questions about, and sign an agreement to the Guardian Contract Document we will send you via email

     

     

  3. You will pay the $250 Guardian Fee

     

     

  4. To prepare to bring home your puppy we will send you a document of items* to buy and checklists to read to help you feel ready

     

  5. We will collaborate on a puppy we both like, schedule an appointment, pick up the puppy, and you will take them home

     

     

  6. You will begin the Guardian Program

     

You MUST live in one of these areas:

Utah - Salt Lake County (Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, Murray, Holladay, Draper, Midvale, West Jordan, South Jordan, Millcreek, Cottonwood Heights, Sugarhouse), 

- Utah County (Lehi, Provo, Orem, Alpine, Highland, Eagle Mountain) 

- Summit County (Park City, Coalville, Kamas, Oakley, Deer Valley)

- Davis County (Bountiful, Woods Cross, Layton, Centerville, Kaysville, Ogden, South Ogden)

- Wasatch County (Heber City, Midway, Charleston, Timber Lakes)
